Google Play has been available for a while now on many Android users, but it only more recently became available in Australia (where I am from) - hence my delay in giving it a recommendation. As the title suggests, Google Play Magazines is the official magazine reading and subscription application from Google.
With Google Play integration it is simple to download and subscribe to magazines. Most mags have both a yearly and a per episode payment amount, with some full yearly subscriptions being as low as $1.22 a month (check out the Geek magazine - well worth the $$)!
Once you have purchased a magazine through Google Play it is then a matter of opening up Google Play Magazines and waiting for the download to commence. As would be expected, it is easy to set up automatic downloading of subscriptions, and the reading can commence before the full magazine download has completed.
The actual reading experience is great, with quick page turns and the ability to pinch and zoom with ease. All in all, this is a great Google product that provides a quick, easy and convenient magazine reading experience for Android devices. Well worth the download!
