Today's app of the day is RepliGo Reader.

There are plenty of great PDF reader available for android devices, but I still find that some load pages (particularly large, full color pdf's of magazines) faster than others. Out of all I have tried, RepliGo Reader currently stands out as the fastest. On top of providing a great reading experience, RepliGo Reader also features some great extra capabilities, such as the ability to annotate and draw all over documents (ala the Galaxy Note).

Saturday's app of the day was TED Air.

If you have ever watched a TED talk, then you will no doubt appreciate how good it is to be able to kick back and watch a video wherever you are. Friday's app of the day was 4 Player Reactor. 

4 Player Reactor is hands down, some of the most fun you will have on your mobile friends (so long as you have a few friends with a competitive spirit). In short, 4 Player Reactor is a series of short, reaction based games, that you compete in against your friends. The concept sounds simple, but the execution is superb. This truly is one of the most unique experiences I have had on my android device to date, and I highly suggest anyone who is yet to give it a try - to do so - now!

Google Drive

Today's app of the day is Google Drive.

If you have not been keeping up to date with all the latest android news, you may not have noticed that Google has now stepped up the role it plays in the world of cloud storage. In contrast, if you have been keeping close tabs on your android device, then you would have likely noticed that Google Docs has undergone a major face life and re-branding and is now ubiquitously titled - Google Drive.

So what is Google Drive? For android users, Google Drive is the newest way to store all your files online, in the cloud, making them accessible from anywhere on the globe. Offering 5gb of space, plus the obvious benefits of being a Google product (and hence hopefully having seamless integration into android phones), Google Drive will be a strong competitor with other cloud storage apps such as Drop Box. The Guardian have written a great post on how Google Drive stacks up against the competition here.

So should you trust Google as the safekeeper of even more of your precious data? To be honest - the jury is still out. I am yet to be given access to the app, but from the screen shots it looks great! I guess only time will tell whether it will truly knock other cloud storage solutions off their mantle, but being a Google product, it will absolutely give the competition a run for their money.

Today's app of the day is Camera Zoom FX.

With Instagram now available on Android, photography has been given a new lease of life for many Android users. This aside, there is no denying that the default available effects for Instagram are limited, and often users find themselves wanting more creative options for their pics. This is where third party apps such as Camera Zoom FX step in, allowing users to take photos using the program, saving them to their gallery, then  uploading them through Instragram or other social networks.

Of all the apps out there that give users a variety of effects and editing features for, Camera Zoom FX, in my experience, is the most comprehensive, user-friendly, and powerful.
