FaceApp - despite the controversy there's a reason it is popular!

FaceApp is high in the ranks of then Google Play store at the moment, and despite the controversies of white-washing, there's a reason. In short, it's really fun, simple to use and an all round well-designed app that has some great filters and effects.
The purpose of the app is simple - simply load it up, take a photo, play with a few dials and then before you know it there's your desired outcome - whether it be a new gender, a younger self, an older self - etc. You name it - FaceApp can do it.
Check it out today, it's one of those apps well worth downloading and spending a few minutes with!

2 Remember Memories in Memory

Today's Android app of the day is 2 Remember.

There are plenty of great note taking or task creation apps for Android devices. Examples like Evernote or Google Keep jump immediately to mind, but there are plenty more. Unfortunately, they are all quite basic in their functionality, and only allow the capturing of the most rudimentary notes or 'memories',
2 Remember tries to change this, taking the basic memory or note taking functionality of many apps, but enhancing it in every way, allowing for the capture of not just photos, text, video and audio, but also the people involved, location and events at that time.
After 2 Remember is installed you can happy ditch every other note or thought taking application on your device, as 2 Remember really does cover the entire field. Whether it be taking notes in a class, scanning complex documents or receipts for safe storage, organizing trips, storing shopping lists, keeping audio notes of your thoughts - there is no form of 'memory…

EmoCiao

Today's app of the day is EmoCiao.
EmoCiao is an entirely free to use, one of a kind app that puts anyone you want center of the action - and from there - torment or appreciate them at your will. The app launches with the ability for you to chose a sex, then to take a quick photo of your character (or chose a pic from your gallery). From there, you fit your "victims" 'head' to size and apply appropriate clothing for the events that follow.
After dressing your character you get to torment or appreciate him/her in a variety of hilarious situations, in a form of 'flash-like' animation. Some of the scenarios will see your "victim" walking through a wood at night to fall down a hole, get attacked by wolves, eaten by sharks, etc. There are three types actions that can unfold:

1. Push off - Push off the person that actually peeved you off ie a colleague, a friend, your boss or anyone 2. Thanks - Thanks or congrats someone 3. Love - Show your love to someon…

Voxle

Today's app of the day is Voxle.

There are a myriad of social networks to chose from these days, but more often than not they will tell you what your friends are doing on then other side of then world or in cities far away. When you really want to know who of your friends are nearby, or even meet a stranger and make a new friend, this can be more difficult.

This is where Voxle steps in, taking social networking and making it local - allowing you to find people nearby with similar interests, and to 'Bark' updates or questions to those in your vicinity for a quick answer. Got something you want to sell? Got a spare ticket to an event? Use the Bark feature to solve your problems!

In my opinion, that in itself makes Voxle a great app, but when you add features such as free messaging and free calls to any other Voxle user (worldwide!) - it moves Voxle into the category of must have app. Other great features include the ability to create a detailed profile, yet only share informati…

Reckless Getaway

Today's android app of the day is Reckless Getaway.

There are plenty of great free racing games available for Android devices, consoles or even playable online. In such a crowded market it can be hard to rise above the masses, but Reckless Getaway manages to do so and places itself in pole position as one of the best racing games available for mobile devices.
The game play is easy to pick up, but surprisingly challenging as the game progresses. In short, you are on the run from the police - your task - to getaway. In the process you earn start for being 'reckless'. This can include destroying other vehicles, driving on the wrong side of the road, performing stunts, smashing through barricades etc. There are also actual 'stars' scattered around the track to collect, and a variety of power ups that can be collected.
At the end of every track, presuming you have managed to escape, you are given a star rating, which is used to unlock future levels. Everything here fits …
